April 4 2017: 9th Commencement Exercises

The most awaited school year end had come! This year’s batch- Batch Overcomers was composed of 3 boys, namely: Froilan Esportuno from MLFI City Heights Gensan City; Rexlie Fuentes from MLFI Isulan, Sultan Kudarat and Ptr. Roger Magsayo from MLFI Lebak, Sultan Kudarat; and 6 girls, namely: Noemi Dano and Christine Dengfrom MLFI Lamkitay, Tupi; Alma Llmado and Alona Soloren from MLFI Ciyt Heights Gensan City; Marlyn Magsayo from MLFI Lebak, Sultan Kudarat and Emelyn Ragual from MLFI Mlang, North Cotabao.

 

This year’s 9th Commencement Exercises was held at MLFI City Heights Gensan City. Evangelist Brendon Stewart, the son of our Apostle Don Stewart was our honored guest. Along with our guest also are Ptr. Larry Skelton and Ptr. Brady.

Evangelist Brendon Stewart stressed out to the graduates to always believe in their self. Never stop believing also that they can achieve whatever their God given dreams and visions. Also he had challenged them to keep their calling wherever they go and be faithful to God. During the program, he distributed his own produce book “Successful Strategies” to the graduates.

Highlight of this commencement DTC recognized our awardees both from the graduates and first year: Certificate of Graduations and Medals was awarded by our School Director Bishop Ping Alba with his wife Ma’am Nida Alba, Evangelist Brendon Stewart and our School Administrator Rev. Jarry Cortez, assisted by our School Registrar Ptra. Lory Beth Segovia.

Graduates: For the Academic Awards: Excellence Award was awarded to Emelyn Ragual, Outstanding Award to Alma Llamado and 1st Honorable Mention was also awarded to Ptr. Roger Magsayo. Ministry Awards are: Children Ministry Award; Youth Ministry Award; Music and Art Award; Leadership Award; Evangelism Award and Pastoral Award are awarded to deserving graduates.

For the first year: 1st Honor was awarded to Daphnie Amor Yntig from MLFI Tambler Gensan City; 2nd Honor to Ruby Jane Sudio and 3rd Honor to Loreto Canillo III from MLFI Namnama, Koronadal City.

All glory belongs to God for the success of this school year!

 

Indeed this commencemenet exercises differs from the past commencement because it held outside the DTC grounds. Also it was attended and witnessed by our nationwide delegates for the International Convention.
